How to root Gionee Marathon M5 and M5 mini steps by step Tutorial

Rooting Gionee Marathon M5 -



general specifications-
Gionee Marathon M5 Mini smartphone was launched in January 2016. the device  comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with 8 mp primary camera and a 5 MP  secondory camera

The Gionee Marathon M5 Mini runs Android 5.1.1 and  powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, is has a 4000mAh removable battery. 

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope.

Instructions-
1.install adb and fastboot driver in pc 
2.go to setting about phone and click on build number up to 8 time to enable developer option,
3.again go to setting developer option and enable device debugging 
4.reboot your smartphone into fastboot mod by pressing power and volume button in same time,
5.connect device into pc and open cmd in adb folder,
6.type fastboot oem unlock and hit enter your device show a notification for unlock oem so press volum up button to confirm it.
7.tham type fastboot format userdata hit enter
8.rename recovery img to recovery,img and put in adb folder
9.type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img hit enter {recovery img only for m5 user not for mini user}
10.than type fastboot reboot hit enter
and you are done if you are  m5 user flash updatesu using recovery and you are done or follow both user bellow instructions.

Rooting-
1.download root tools [kingroot] from above link,
2.install it in your device,
3.turn on data connection and open kingroot,
4.wait while it check your device is rooted or not than hit root now at the bottom,
5.it take a few minuts to root your device wait while it root your device.
6.after some time it say success just close it and check your apps drawer you find a new apps called kinguser if it available in your apps drawer that means device is now Rooted *enjoy*
